What is it? ChoacuryOS (pronounced as coch-curry or /kʰɔx-ˈkʌr.i/) is an operating system made in C (and recently C++ for the GUI), I joined this around August 2024 and have been helping to develop it since.
I am not the owner of this, just a developer on it. Check out the project owner: Pineconium (Pineconium).
I recreated the shell after discovering that it was just a bunch of if statements, so now instead it is an array with a pointer to the entry point of the shell command.
I recently have been adding the fallback window manager to the operating system which is supposed to be the window manager that the Operating System falls back on when LNDE (Loch Ness Desktop Environment, our DE – Desktop Environment) fails. It may not look the best, have the most features, but it should be robust, and work even when it’s falling to pieces.
